Lodge Responsibilities:

The responsibility of the Tyler is to greet all brothers and visiting brethren.  It is also the job of the Tyler to investigate all visiting brothers and to administer the Tyler’s Oath.  He also has the duty of making sure all brothers have signed the register and clothed themselves in a proper manner and once Lodge has begun he is to make sure that no one enters a tiled Lodge without permission from the Worshipful Master.
